Commercial & AEC Site Prep Guidelines
For construction milestones, raw spatial data capture, and commercial real estate presentations.
General Operational Standards
Site Readiness: Ensure the property or zone is 100% data-capture ready before our technician arrives on-site.
Cancellation & Rescheduling: Please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for any scheduling modifications to avoid standard asset cancellation fees.
Operational Scope: Our field technicians are strictly data capture specialists. For safety and liability reasons, they cannot move physical debris, handle equipment, clear active hazards, or wait for site staging to complete.
Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination
Active Trade Management: Notify all active trades and on-site personnel of the data capture window.
Scanning Clearances: For progress milestones and high-fidelity 3D scanning, clear the immediate capture areas of unnecessary personnel to ensure completely unobstructed modeling and digital twin accuracy.
Site Safety & Compliance
PPE Requirements: Please notify us in advance of any specialized site compliance or PPE requirements. Our technicians arrive with standard field safety gear (hard hats, high-visibility vests, and safety glasses).
Site Escort: If your facility requires a safety escort or restricted access credentials, please have your site representative ready at the designated arrival time to prevent data gaps or delays.
Debris & Heavy Equipment Management
Pathway Clearance: Remove raw construction debris, loose materials, temporary trash bins, and stray tools from the primary interior and exterior pathways.
Machinery Staging: Coordinate the staging of heavy machinery, equipment, and vendor vehicles so they do not block critical structural vantage points, architectural facades, or scanning paths.
Facility Access & Logistics
Mechanical & Restricted Spaces: Ensure all locked mechanical rooms, electrical spaces, IT closets, or restricted tenant suites are unlocked and fully accessible prior to our team's arrival.
Operational Power: If capturing interior spaces or generating 3D models, ensure that temporary or permanent overhead lighting is completely turned on and operational across all levels.
